Congress appears ready to send the President yet another blank check to continue his failed occupation of Iraq.  It's simply unacceptable.

American troops are stuck in the middle of a bloody civil war.  President Bush, however, is ignoring reality and the will of the American people by sending even more troops into the quagmire.  Tragically, there's no exit strategy, no benchmarks or timelines for progress by the Iraqis, no readiness standards for our troops being sent in, and no realistic chance of success -- or even a definition of what success might look like!

Unfortunately, Congress seems to have completely lost their collective spine, and will be voting on the blank-check funding bill to continue the occupation as early as tomorrow.  Send them a message that funding the occupation without enforceable timelines for getting our troops out is simply unacceptable.
